NDIS Support Coordinator / Social Worker

Requirment

We are looking for a vibrant, professionally presented individual with a warm and excellent telephone manner. You must have the ability to work in a team environment with sound communication, interpersonal skills and excellent time management skills.

Skills required for the Role:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of NDIS and its services
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information
  • A positive approach to the people we support and their families
  • Managing and coordinating meetings, including agenda’s, minutes and all other related paperwork
  • Additional administration duties as required
  • High-level computer skills including Word, Excel, Database and Electronic Record Management System, ability to learn new applications
  • Staff must be enthusiastic, motivated and eager to provide care and assistance to the best of their ability whilst following company standards, policies, guidelines and the National Disability Service Standards.
  • Experience managing/supervising staff in the Disability sector
  • Strong coordination, leadership and peer support skills Right to work in Australia

Qualifications required:

  • Tertiary qualification in related fields
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Clearance
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • Driver’s license and access to own vehicle
  • NDIS worker screening check
